Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia - on the guard of law and order
Omsk Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is one of the largest inSiberia training centers for law enforcement agencies. They train cadets for law enforcement activities, criminology, jurisprudence and other disciplines, conduct retraining of officers.

Historical reference
The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Omsk originates from the coursesa militia commander who was opened on 5.03.1920. A few years later, on their basis, the 2nd Omsk school of the average commander's staff of the militia administration of the RSFSR is being created.
In 1940, the institution was renamed into the interregionalschool of militia. And in November 1949 - in the Omsk school of the commanding police of the MGB. A special date for the OA became 2.06.1965, when the USSR Council of Ministers, a specialized institution was reorganized into the Omsk Higher Police School. The status of the Academy was received on 4 February 2000.

Education
Today, the Omsk Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation implements core programs in full-time correspondence courses. The main specialties:

There are 16 departments, where first-class teachers work: 25 doctors, professors, 165 candidates, associate professors. Honorary titles were awarded to 15 employees.

Employees of the Academy are active participants in scientificforums. Annually conferences and seminars are held. Over the past three years, more than 180 scientific events have been held, 22 of which are of an international scale.
The Omsk Academy is developing student science. There are 16 scientific circles, 3 problem groups, a sociological laboratory, the club "Professional". They employ about 300 cadets.
