From this sometimes in his films and individual frames of the action the action acquired lifelessness and unreal. At the same time the master did not care at all about the rigidity, dryness of the created images. His scenes were different from most of the stylistic "combed" made by other animators, the rationality in the construction of the mise en scene and the graphic "stubbornness". The director boldly took up the screen version of cardinally opposite subjects. He liked to fight over the solution of the problem of harmonious combination of material and style.
