Truffles, a recipe for cooking sweets
One of the most expensive delicacies in the world istruffle, an underground mushroom of an unpretentious kind, but an amazing smell and taste. He is valued in the literal sense of the word in gold. And from this fungus got its name for the external similarity of famous sweets. They were unusually popular in the Soviet Union, and during a deficit, when it was very difficult to find these sweets, the housewives managed to do truffles at home. The recipe for the preparation could contain milk powder or infant formula. Let's try to make the famous French delicacy ourselves, even in several ways, so that everyone can choose to taste.
Simple truffles, recipe first
We will need: a pack of butter, a pack of "Baby", (baby food), half a glass of milk, 2 cups of sugar, cocoa (250 grams per recipe and separately for sprinkling).
Put butter, sugar, milk, everything in a saucepanmix, bring to a full boil and remove from the plate. Mix three tablespoons of infant formula "Baby" and cocoa to cover the future truffle, pour the rest together with cocoa into the milk and oil mixture and mix until homogeneous. From the finished mass to form candies in the form of balls, roll in a mixture of cocoa and "Baby" and send for a couple of hours in the refrigerator.
Chocolate truffles, recipe two
For the recipe you need: 300 gr. chocolate, half a glass of 20 percent cream, 100 grams of sugar, 3 yolks, 100 grams of butter, unsweetened cocoa for sprinkling.
On a water bath put broken on sliceschocolate, when it begins to melt, add cream, butter and sugar, stir slowly until smooth, then remove from the heat and mix the yolks. Put in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 hours. When the dough is ready, form small balls and roll in a mixture of cocoa. Then send it back to the refrigerator for a few hours.
Almond truffles, recipe 3
Required products: three tablespoons of butter, 90 grams of almonds, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 60 grams of cookie crumbs, almond flavor, chocolate chips, rum or cognac.
Thoroughly grind butter and sugar, addcrushed almonds, cocoa, essence and, if desired, aromatic alcohol. All together carefully knead until homogeneous, roll out into sausage, cut into slices, form candies, roll them in chocolate chips and leave in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
How to Make Truffles from Milk Powder
The following ingredients are needed: 200 grams of milk powder, 100 grams of cocoa, 250 grams of sugar, 120 grams of water, 180 grams of butter.
From sugar, oil and water, cook syrupconsistency of liquid sour cream. In a separate bowl, mix the milk powder and cocoa, gradually add the syrup to this mixture, without stopping stirring. Send for a couple of hours to the freezer, then from the frozen mixture to form balls and sprinkle them in cocoa. Prepared in this way, truffles, it is better to store in the freezer and get it an hour before filing.
And a few more tips on how to cook truffles correctly:
1. In order to make truffles better formed, you need to moisten your hands a little in cold water.
2. In the aroma truffle, you can add rum, brandy, sherry or liqueur to taste. The main thing is not to overdo it!
3. Inside each candy you can hide almonds, hazelnuts or cashews, berries, for example, dried cherries, marmalade.
4. As a truffle cover, it is good to use cocoa powder, chocolate chips, cookie crumbs or wafers, crushed nuts or any combination thereof.
