Flower primrose evening and terry
Among the majority of street and room flowersplants, the primula is very popular, as well as a huge number of its varieties and hybrids. There are both annuals and perennials of this species. In essence, the primrose family loved a well-lit space, acceptable humidity and the absence of direct sun rays.
Evening primrose
Particular attention deserves a variety ofthe name of the evening (it is also sometimes called an evening primrose, an antechter or an enotera). It is a biennial plant that came to us from far North America. In its first year in this primrose appear adjacent to the ground leaves, forming a kind of rosette. Only in the second year of cultivation, a stem with an inflorescence of the brush becomes noticeable. Their radical pointed leaves form strongly resemble an ellipse and narrow slightly closer to the base of the petiole. The leaves of the stem are broadly lanceolate, almost sessile with small denticles along the edges. The flowers are yellow-green in color, have a length of about two centimeters with a small notch, unfortunately, they open only in the evening. This primrose flower has its own flowering time, it continues, beginning in mid-June and ending at the end of September.
An important fact is the use of eveningprimroses in medicine, namely her oil, obtained from seeds (fruiting begins around the end of July). The oil appears with the help of a special pressing by a huge press of the seeds themselves. This oil is very useful for the human body due to its high content of GLA (gamma - linolenic acid), almost completely indispensable class of omega (6) fatty acid. This primrose flower is simply irreplaceable from the point of view of pharmacological action. The fact is that this particular acid is very necessary for the production in the human body of a substance with a hormonal basis, called prostaglandin with a group numbered E1 (PGE1). Too serious effect on the restoration of cellular forms and our immunity is provided by this PGE1, with its help, it is possible to significantly reduce blood pressure by weakening the walls of all blood vessels. Also gamma-linolenic acid helps normalize blood flow in the body and helps people with congenital disease of their cardiovascular system. Another important property is prostaglandins - they can protect the gastric mucosa and thereby prevent the formation of ulcers. In the absence of this substance in the body, protective functions are noticeably reduced, the vascular system is disrupted and various negative processes appear. To some extent reduces premenstrual pain, and also improves the overall condition of nails, hair and skin.
Primrose Terry
This primrose flower can be safely attributed to onefrom the earliest and flowering plants. Primrose terry is a perennial vegetation of the family of primrose, has a radical whole leaves, large terry flowers of bright yellow coloring in the form of very small roses. The bush itself does not grow more than 15 centimeters in height. As is inherent in this family, this flower primrose terry is grown on moist fertilized soil in slightly shady places. With ease can transfer the transplant (even in the flowering period). The first shoots after sowing appear after twenty days, and the young vegetation starts to bloom only from the second year, usually in the period from mid-April to July. If the plant is transplanted into a pot already in autumn, it will blossom at home at the end of March.
