The electric meter is single-phase: basic requirements for the device
Electric meter (single-phase) - electronicA device that monitors all kinds of network parameters. Most often this device is installed to monitor the consumption of electrical energy. It must be installed in industrial and administrative facilities, in various factories, as well as in all kinds of structures.
The single-phase counter must correspond to the wholea number of requirements, including functionality, reliability, quality and lifetime. Each device undergoes a testing process before release, where it is found to comply with current international standards, after which an inter-calibration interval is indicated. Modern devices have a simple, user-friendly interface that allows even users without special education to effectively use them.
As already mentioned, an electric single-phase meter must meet different requirements. Let's consider some of them in more detail:
1.
2. The single-phase meter should not be located near fire-hazardous as well as explosive substances. It is recommended that they be placed in a free and easily accessible space of dry rooms. It is allowed to install them in unheated rooms, provided that this corresponds to the passport characteristics of the meter. This should also be agreed with the relevant organizations, which in turn can put forward a number of conditions, for example, insulate the cabinet in which this equipment is located, use different heating elements. The simplest of the conditions is the installation of a filament lamp in a general cap with the electronic device presented.
3. An electrical one-phase meter must be installed on structural components that have a sufficiently rigid construction, for example, cabinets, panels, panels, walls and niches in them. It is possible to install a meter on plastic, metal and wooden structures.
4. The height of the installation should be within 0.4 - 1.7 m from the floor level. This requirement is strictly individual for each room, so the range of heights is wide enough.
5. If the single-phase meter can be exposed to mechanical influences, it is necessary to place it in a special cabinet with a window opposite the dial. The same measures should be performed if the device is in a zone accessible to unauthorized persons.
6. The design and dimensions of the equipment on which the meter will be installed should provide for the possibility of replacing and dismounting the measuring instrument from the front side, as well as a sufficiently accessible approach to clamps and terminals.
7. Laying the wiring does not allow the presence of twists and rations, in addition, you must leave the end of the wire free (10-15 cm).
